History

Living Stones Prison Congregation first called a mission developer in 2005, but its roots start much earlier. Pastors Neil Thompson and John O'Neal regularly performed visits to Washington Corrections Center in Shelton long before a congregation was established. Their passion to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to men behind bars birthed Living Stones into a ministry geared toward "setting the captives free" spiritually, emotionally, and physically. It is a joint ministry with congregations of the Southwestern Washington Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
